Great Train Expo - 2012

For the third year in a row, the town of Liberty celebrated another year of prosperous railroad service at the annual  Great Train Expo (GTE) in Norcross, Georgia.  The owners of the S&R, the Furtak Family, are quoted as saying, "We wanted to thank everyone who came out in support of the S&R and it's rail service to the town of Liberty and Liberty Mountain, and newly acquired Flint River branch. We expect continuing expansion to occur on the Flint River branch as service demand increases."

The S&R wanted to let everyone know who visit the S&R at the GTE with questions that it would be their pleasure to answer any questions related to the model and plans for future improvements.

Great Train Expo - 2010 - A Great Event

The Great Train Expo 2010 turned out to be a great event that showcased many of Shilo & Redmond's strongest railroad services. The town of Liberty used the GTE to highlight many of the towns newest infrastructure enhancements and the vitality of its residence. This was the first show in over 12 years for S&R's owners -- The Furtak Family. The goal to build a railroad service which could be shown during train events was a complete success.
